The crew dropped in at POC New Zealand headquarters during our training weekend to pick up their new high performance protective gear. Armed with top spec helmets and matching sunglasses (for a seamless fit and comfortable ride), we are now ready to spread the word about safety on tour.

POC has a history of exploring new ideas to create innovative products, spurred on by its mission and scientific approach. We are very excited to have forged this partnership and see how their products will evolve. Especially with the rise in popularity of electric bicycles, increasing the number of cyclists out and about on the roads and trails.

Safety On Tour

Safety is our highest priority on tour. Whilst we will always do our best to mitigate hazards, biking can be inherently risky. Bikers on our tours tend to get kitted out with the latest technical clothing but helmets and sunglasses are often low priority. We know crashing isn’t a topic we want to dwell on, but accidents happen, and everyone should be prepared with the most reliable protective gear.
